I had shot this at night and wanted to re-explore it during the day. The clouds came out alright but they darken the whole scene way too much when they pass over the sun.

Shot one weekend in Hyde Park, was a bit tricky as it seems like they are running a restoration on it, but I managed to find a decent angle.

This was a cold one to do in shorts and a t-shirt. Was the same night as the full moon, and I’m pretty sure there was another guy doing a lapse sitting behind me.
Could do with a bit more length and preparation which will be happening pretty soon in another attempt.

I was approached to shoot a wedding, and having never done a wedding video before, I was keen, but slightly nervous.
Fortunately I have friends in high places, and was able to get Jordi Giralt to help me out. He has loads of video experience and we had been talking about doing a wedding for a while already.
The location was at an awesome Cape Dutch style house at a place called Merwida Country Manor in Rawsonville, Western Cape.
We both shot on DSLR’s using a 5DmkII and a 60D, and a combination of lenses being two fifty’s, a 24-70mm and a 70-200mm. Edited by Jordi Giralt

So I was very slightly under the influence of beer when I shot this one, so it didnt come out as I hoped it would, but I promised these guys that I would upload this to “youtube”, and they were over the moon. So here its is!
These guys sit just outside the Brass Bell by the station tunnel. When I asked them what they were called, they took a moment and came up with the name of “The Saints”. Really cool bunch of guys.
Settings were by no means optimal, and the processing was a bit of a nightmare, but I think its alright.

My first edit of a mountain of videos I have shot over the last few months.
This was two sessions at the rocks at Llundudno and one the abandoned house rooftops at Signal Hill in Cape Town.

This is my second attempt at shooting a time lapse on my 5d2. I shot this sequence in sRAW1
The setup was a tripod standing infront of our camp, with the 5dmkII, a sigma 14mm f2.8 and a cheap digital timer remote from ebay.
Total shooting time was about 4 hours
Camera settings used were:
ISO: 2500
F2.8
shutter 1.6
sRAW1
shots were taken every 20sec
Raw sequence has been edited in Camera Raw, Photoshop and imported directly into After Effects, where basic panning was done. Rendered out at 25 fps
